Life is shorter than a blink of an eye.

Thursday 4th June 2015:

Mocha Caramel latte

A combination of espresso and steamed milk equivalent to a ‘latte’ is in French called ‘grand crème’ and in German ‘Milchkaffee’ or ‘Melange’.

Tuesday!

What’s on Tuesday?

It’s my interview for the new job. I have already given 4 interviews for the same job and the last one was actually the last one. I was expecting the offer letter within two weeks and now another one.

Hmmm. Try not to think about your interview till Monday.

Life is shorter than a blink of an eye and still we keep ourselves hampered by the survival and egoistic anxieties all the time. The young enthusiastic electrical engineer sitting right next to me, willing to explore all the territories of human physiology, sipping his favorite coffee while sitting at his favorite coffee place, and yet worrying about his next job interview. I wonder what defines the ultimate boundaries of human satisfaction.

On my way back home from this coffee reunion, worrying me about my next write up, I saw a little girl ridding the back seat of a motorbike. And suddenly I found my answer. Dressed up humbly but wearing the biggest ever smile, enjoying the summer breeze on the canal bank road. There are just no boundaries; one can be satisfied with the mere thought of being satisfied. Happiness is surly contagious as I found a smile on my face as well, and I just started waving to her. Startled with my sudden reaction at first, but then she also started waving back to me with an even bigger smile. That was the happiest moment of my day.

“May your coffee be strong and your Monday be short.”
