Life is like a time-lapse.

Crème Brulée Latte:

Steamed milk with an espresso, flavored with a caramel brulée sauce and topped with whipped cream and caramel Brulée topping. The earliest known reference of burnt cream or crème brulée as we know it today appears in Francois Massialot’s 1691 cookbook.

I am sitting in a quiet corner of an otherwise noisy cafe, enjoying my hot coffee in slightly chilled weather and thinking about my recent trip of mountains.

I was longing for movement when life had me standing still. I was feeling a compelling need to get recharged, refreshed, and enhanced for my creativity. I wished to enjoy a bit of a freedom out of my own life which I rarely do.  Little did I know, that it will be that very expedition that would provide opportunity for a new vision of epic delight.

I informed my family, packed my bag, faced all those faces and arguments and I was on my way. We arrived after midnight at the bus terminal of a different city. Sitting with two other companions along with all the mosquitoes and the stares of the sleepy, tipsy strangers wandering around, while waiting for a ride with all unknown passengers to take us to a dream destination, I was thinking if my family will ever come to know where I was they will simply disown me. 😉

And here comes the ride and the journey began. And that was the journey of utter happiness. A journey of making new friends and ending up like a family. A journey of endless laughter, dancing, singing, playing, sharing, caring and steeling (only apples from the trees). A journey of doing meditation at night sitting by the river in the perfect yogi pose, loaded with the burden of some unknown spiritual power along with the fear of friends roaming around just to make fun latter. A journey of reporting back shenanigans and laughing like kids. A journey of becoming teenagers out of the blues in the middle of your professional life. Those five days away from my comfort zone gave a new meaning to happiness in my life. One doesn’t need to strive hard to accumulate happiness; it can be achieved only by sharing a smile or a naughty glance even with a stranger. That was a journey of witnessing the most clear and magical milky way with all the magical people around.

Every person has their own magic and possesses their own universe within themselves.      There is great value in taking steps forward in pursuit of what makes you come alive and happy, as well as a huge worth in seeking out the magic in others. It’s always worth it to get out of your calm and take few risks to witness the beauties of nature and experience the magic of off comers.

Life is like a time-lapse. It walks in slow motion but passes by you in a blink of an eye. What remains in the end is the count of happy tears you shed. So grab your joyous ride today and make the best out of your life’s time-lapse.
