“Magia dell’amore”

The only thing that can make someone stay back in the magical city of Florence is ‘LOVE’.

Neither any lust nor the promises of a bright future….only ‘LOVE’.

Either it’s the simple love of nature.

Or it’s the love of that beautiful soul whom you can’t imagine to miss for the rest of your days.

Either it’s the love of seeing the sunset at Piazzale di Michelangelo.

Or it’s the love of watching the full moon at Ponte Vecchio.

Either it’s the love of listening to those magical words every time you step out of your house.

“Ciao Bella, Vieni Vieni!”

Or the sight of those lovely old classy ladies , dressed to a tee from head to toe, grocery bags in hand with a small poodle in their wake.

Either it’s the love of tempting aromas of coffee coming from every corner to kick start your day.

Or the love of every single bite of countless gelatos you indulge in.

Either it’s the love of walking by the river Arno that can turn into a silver mirror as the day draws to a close.

Or the love of riding the bicycle on these paved streets that gets stolen every month.

Either it’s the love of peekaboo glimpses of the mesmerizing Duomo from every street.

Or it’s the love of never ending list of museums and galleries.

Either it’s the love of those talented singers and musicians, whose sound is the part of the Florentine air.

Or it’s the love of historic sculptures and street art beckoning at you from every nook and corner.

Either it’s the passion of all those baristas producing “artiginiale” coffee with their magical touch.

Or it’s the love of enjoying a new culture of taking coffee shots at the bar counter.

Either it’s the love of simple and loaf Italian lifestyle. “La Dolce Vita”

Or it’s the month of August when even cinemas are on holidays.

This city doesn’t make you its own until or unless you are madly and insanely in love with the mere joy of being. I wonder who can underestimate the power of love. Love can inspire Dante to write all his magical words. And love can make a goat herder convert the red berries into a drink (coffee) that changed the mornings of mankind forever.

Here’s to many more cappuccinos, abundance of love and a beautiful life.

“Espresso yourself.”
